This Refund and Returns Policy explains how refunds, returns, and replacements are handled — in a fair, transparent, and RBI-compliant manner.
1. No Returns or Refunds for Change of Mind
All sales on SDA Store are final.
We do not accept returns, cancellations, or refunds for reasons such as change of mind, product preference, or incorrect selection.
Refunds are applicable only in cases of product defect, damage, or non-functionality upon delivery — verified as per the process below.
2. Eligibility for Refund or Replacement
Refunds or replacements are considered only if:
The product received is damaged, defective, or non-functional on arrival.
The customer provides a clear, continuous unboxing video recorded at the time of opening the package.
The video must show: shipping label, unsealing, product condition, and the issue clearly.
The complaint is reported to SDA Store within 3 days of delivery.
3. Verification Process
Once a complaint is received:
The SDA Store support team will review the unboxing video and issue details.
Verification will be done within 2–3 business days.
If approved, a refund or replacement will be initiated as per RBI-compliant settlement and refund procedures.
4. Refund Timeline & Payment Mode (RBI-Compliant)
All refunds are processed in accordance with RBI’s Payment and Settlement Systems Act and Payment Aggregator Guidelines.
Refunds are issued only to the original payment source used during the transaction.
Refunds are processed through our RBI-licensed payment gateway (e.g., Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, etc.).
No manual cash refunds or alternate account refunds are permitted as per RBI’s security guidelines.
Refunds typically take 7–10 business days after verification and approval.
Delays (if any) depend on the issuing bank or card network. SDA Store has no control once the payment gateway has initiated the refund.
Note: Refunds are subject to gateway processing timelines, escrow release, and RBI’s settlement window.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
As per RBI and card network rules, customers can raise a chargeback if unauthorized or incorrect charges appear on their account.
In such cases:
SDA Store and our payment gateway will coordinate with the bank to resolve the dispute.
Proof of transaction (invoice, packaging video, communication records) will be shared with the bank for verification.
Refunds (if applicable) will follow RBI’s chargeback resolution process.

6. Escrow & Settlement Compliance
Payments made to SDA Store are routed through an RBI-mandated escrow account maintained by our payment aggregator.
Funds are transferred to SDA Store only after order confirmation and shipment, ensuring buyer protection.
If a refund is approved, the payment aggregator processes it from the escrow account as per RBI’s settlement and refund framework.
7. Non-Eligible Cases
Refunds or returns will not be accepted for:
Claims made after 3 days of delivery
Missing or unclear unboxing video evidence
Damage caused by misuse, installation error, or mishandling
Normal wear, minor variations in color/design/packaging
Incorrect orders placed by the customer
Software-activated or consumable items (if applicable)
8. Packaging Video Policy
To maintain accountability and transparency:
SDA Store records every order during packaging before dispatch.
These videos serve as proof of dispatch and product condition.
We may share these videos or photos with customers if a claim arises.
Packaging records are retained temporarily and deleted once the refund/return period expires for privacy and compliance reasons.
9. Refund Process Steps
Step 1: Customer contacts support within 3 days of delivery with the unboxing video.
Step 2: SDA Store verifies the claim (2–3 business days).
Step 3: If approved, refund/replacement is initiated.
Step 4: Refund is processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days via the payment gateway.
10. Data Security & RBI Compliance
All payment data is handled by PCI-DSS certified, RBI-authorized payment aggregators.
SDA Store never stores customer card or banking details.
Refunds and settlements follow RBI’s Payment Data Localization Framework and IT Act 2000 data protection provisions.
